The Adopt-A-School Program is a member of Alumni for Public Schools (APS), a not-for-profit organization that encourages and facilitates partnerships between the Chicago Public Schools (CPS) and the Chicago chapters of college and university alumni associations from around the world.
STUDENTS
February 1, 2012 - PLEASE NOTE: Harvard's Adopt-A-School program has volunteers available to provide tutoring in math and science. Students seeking a tutor may register to join the list for tutoring. Harvols are available to assist you as tutors, college counselors, mentors, and in a number of other ways (click here to learn more). Click here to register and submit a request for a Harvol. VOLUNTEERS March 23, 2012 - SEMINAR PROPOSALS: The Payton Administration has opened the design and teaching of Seminars to Harvols! Any Harvol who would like to design and teach a seminar at Payton should submit a proposal per the details on the volunteer page. You can use this site to become a volunteer in any of the many areas that can help the students at Payton. If you are interested in developing and teaching a seminar, tutoring, debate, mentoring, or anything else for that matter, chances are a student is interested, too, and would enjoy the time that you commit to helping him or her!
